NIRII-HDs are a type of fluorescent dye developed by the Zhang Xiaobing-Yuan Lin team for imaging in the near-infrared II region (Figure 1). Compared with the near-infrared I region and visible light, they have deeper penetration depth and lower spontaneous background fluorescence. This type of dye can be used for "always bright" in vivo lymph node and liver imaging.
