In 2013, Professor Xia Haiping's research group synthesized and named this type of compound for the first time, and developed a series of original, unique structures and excellent performance carbolong complexes. They are rich in reactivity and can be modified through pre-modification and post-derivatization. A series of functional molecules can be obtained, which can be used in fields such as light energy conversion, biomedicine, homogeneous catalysis, and oxygen activation.
